organic strawberries, organic produce farm3B Ranch - Organic Produce Farmangus, organic fruits, organic vegetables

3B Ranch is a grower of certified organic fruits and vegetables along with naturally raised cattle, buffalo and swine, located in Northford, Connecticut.  3B Ranch is owned and operated by 3 brothers, Andrew, Steven and Dennis Bozzuto. We are committed to sustainable agricultural practices.  Our produce is grown according to organic standards, without pesticides or commercial fertilizers. Our plants owe their robust health and vigor to what we call our “Black Gold” soil, comprised mainly of farm generated compost and food waste.

Our agricultural methods contribute to a safe environment, a sustainable food system, and a diverse regional economy. We provide fresh, great tasting, organic produce, at an honest value, for the local community.

We grow approximately ten acres of organically grown vegetables and small fruits. Our vegetables are certified organic by the USDA and Bay State Certifiers. If a vegetable can be grown in the Northeast, we try to grow it! We concentrate on proper crop rotation and soil health in order to grow healthy, organic produce, free of all synthetic pesticides. Our produce is sold at various organic and natural food stores, local farmers’ markets, farm stands and restaurants in the New Haven county area.

We also have a wide selection of plants for your garden beds. We pride ourselves on growing the highest quality plants and featuring those special varieties unavailable elsewhere. In fact, 3B Farm grows several varieties of annuals and perennials from seed. In addition, we offer a large selection of organically grown vegetable and herb starts in the region, with many different heirloom and hybrid (NO-GMOs) varieties to make your vegetable garden a success.

Along with 3B Ranch, the Bozzuto brothers own and operate Johns Refuse (waste removal) and Global Environmental Services (composting). While we collect waste with Johns Refuse, we turn it to food waste with Global and make soil for 3B. Composting our own waste and making our own soil has made it possible for 3B Ranch’s “black gold” to have a high amount of nutrients. Making our products healthier, and our lives and companies come “full circle.”
